Pravasi Legal Cell Oman Chapter Inaugurated in Muscat
The Oman Chapter of Pravasi Legal Cell (PLC) was officially inaugurated at the City Seasons Hotel, Al Khuwair, Muscat. The inauguration ceremony was conducted by Adv. Jose Abraham, Global President of Pravasi Legal Cell.
The meeting was presided over by Rajesh Kumar, Oman Chapter Coordinator, during which the new office bearers were announced:

Joint Secretary: Balakrishnan
Treasurer: Nooruddin
Earlier, Ambassador of India to Oman, H.E. G.V. Srinivas, received the 2024–25 Global Activity Report of Pravasi Legal Cell from Adv. Jose Abraham at the Embassy of India, Muscat. The Ambassador appreciated PLC’s dedicated efforts in supporting and legally empowering Indian expatriates worldwide and highlighted the importance of continued collaboration for community welfare.
Adv. Jose Abraham thanked the Embassy for its unwavering support to the Indian diaspora and assured that PLC Oman will strengthen its operations to assist distressed migrants.
Oman Chapter, under the new leadership, will further expand PLC’s mission of legal empowerment for all expatriates.
Established in 2009, Pravasi Legal Cell is a non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance and advocacy for Indian expatriates across the globe. With the formation of the Oman Chapter, PLC’s humanitarian and legal outreach continues to grow stronger in the Gulf region.
